Beth Ann Moore, 65, of Greensburg, IN, passed away peacefully on August 14th, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Greensburg, Beth was the daughter of John and Nancy Butz, who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Butz, and sister-in-law, Denise. A 1978 graduate of Greensburg Community High School, Beth made many lifelong friends during her school years and beyond.
In 1988, she married the love of her life, David Thomas Moore. Together, they shared a wonderful life full of love, laughter, and lasting memories. David survives her.
Beth was a devoted and proud mother to three children: Amanda Moore of Lakewood, CO; Shawn Moore of Greensburg, IN; and Jordan Moore of Brooklyn, NY. She embraced her cherished role as “Gaga” to her beloved grandchildren, Gracelyn and Wyatt Moore. Affectionately known as “Auntie Beth” to many, she shared a special bond with her nephews Blake (and his wife Martina) and Brandon Butz, and great-nephew Baylor Butz. Her greatest joy came from being deeply involved in the lives of her children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends—offering them her unwavering love and support.
Those who knew Beth will remember her warm smile, generous heart, and unwavering dedication to her family and friends. She was a woman who loved deeply, gave freely, and found joy in simple moments. Her compassion touched many lives, and her presence will be deeply missed.
Beth was a kind and generous woman who always put her family first. She enjoyed gardening, reading and watching murder mysteries, vacationing by the ocean, and spending time with her family and friends. She lived her life with kindness and intention—always putting others before herself.
In keeping with her generous spirit, Beth gave the ultimate gift by choosing to be an organ donor, offering hope and life to others even after her passing.
