Cheryl Lamier, beloved by many and a true light in the lives of all who knew her, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and service.
Born to the late Joseph and Carol Barna, Cheryl was a devoted daughter, sister to Karen Barna, and cherished niece to Michael (Joyce) Barna and JoAnn Barna.
She was the proud and loving mother of Justin, Jeffery (Ericka), Heather (Christopher), Megan (Titus), Michael (Amber), Joey, Kelly (Karl), and Travis (Cassidy). Cheryl was preceded in death by her daughters-in-law, Melissa Lamier and Tanya Harshburger. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy: Ben, Brian, McKayla, Braylen, McKenna, Blake, TJ, Avayah, Abby, Piper, Killian, Ford, and Sheamus. She adored each of them and poured her heart into creating lasting memories — especially through family picnics and playful afternoons feeding her squirrel friends.
Cheryl’s heart belonged to her faith. A loyal servant of God, she was an active member of the House of Miracles Church, where she found joy in teaching children’s church every Monday and Saturday. For the last three years, she also volunteered with Loveline Ministries, dedicating herself to helping others in times of need. Serving others was not just a calling for Cheryl — it was her passion and purpose.
Her favorite color was purple, a fitting hue for someone so vibrant, warm, and deeply loving. Cheryl lived with a boundless love for her family, an open heart for her community, and an unshakeable faith in God. Her spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched.
She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
