Ellen Conde

Ellen Lucille Conde, 73, passed away on February 1, 2026, in Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

Born on August 1, 1952, in Millwakee Wisconsin, Ellen was the oldest of 4 children to John and Lucille Conde. Ellen was a proud graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, class of 1971. She went on to earn 2 Bachelor degrees in education and journalism at Bowling Green State University. Her professional life reflected her deep commitment to others. She taught for the Cleveland Public Schools and spent the majority of her career working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Ellen found joy in exploring the world around her. She loved traveling and visiting historic sites, often combining her passion for learning with her love for adventures. Trips back to Wisconsin during strawberry season were especially meaningful, offering cherished time with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Family gatherings were a highlight of her life, and she delighted in spending time with her great-nieces--Lily, Violet, and Robin Wise-whose laughter brought her endless happiness.

She is lovingly remembered by her brother William Conde; sister Sally Wise (Joseph, deceased); nephew John Wise (Andrea); niece Meredith Wise; great-nieces Lily, Violet, and Robin Wise; and many extended family members and friends. Ellen was preceded in death by her father John Conde: mother Lucille Conde; brother Thomas Conde; and niece Meghan Wise.

Ellen's warmth and dedication touched many lives. May her memory bring comfort to those who knew and loved her.
