Eloise Elizabeth (Farnsworth) McKeon

Eloise Elizabeth (Farnsworth) McKeon (12/7/1944-7/30/2025) passed away peacefully at home leaving behind a legacy of warmth, wit, and unwavering devotion to her family.

Born to Margaret and Charles Farnsworth, Eloise was a woman of deep compassion, boundless generosity, and quiet strength. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John, with whom she shared a lifetime of laughter, front porch chats, and an open door for every stray animal that crossed their path.

Eloise was the loving mother of Patti (Dean), Bob (Angel), John (Mary), and Christina (Shawn), and a proud grandmother and great-grandmother to what can only be described as a small village - each of whom adored her fiercely.

Known for her homemade pizzas and her chicken and noodles that could cure any bad day, Eloise found joy in life’s simple pleasures: meetings with her Jehovah's Witness community, garage sale treasure hunts, long road trips, summer cookouts, getting her nails done by family, and her famous family Monopoly nights hosted by her and her grandson Justice.

She crocheted love into every blanket and shared her Saturdays with her children and grandchildren - especially frequent visits from her granddaughter Aaliyah, often joined by her daughter Christina and her sons John and Bob (and Angel). She also cherished driving to visit her granddaughter Tiffany (and Chris), along with her great-grandchildren Gavin and Carli. She was always eager to try whatever delicious meal Tiffany was cooking up that day.

Eloise never met an animal she didn’t try to befriend, especially her parrots, who were practically part of the family.

Her spirit was gentle but mighty, and her presence brought comfort like a well-worn quilt on a rainy day.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 24th at 5PM at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 5230 SOM Center Rd, 44094. All who knew and loved her are welcome to attend and celebrate a life that touched so many.
