Jacqueline Vita Hopkins

With deep love and cherished memories, the family of Jacqueline V. Giangregorio Rideout Hopkins announces her peaceful passing on July 27, 2025, at the age of 84.

Born on January 31, 1941, to Joseph and Marie Giangregorio, Jackie lived a life defined by compassion, devotion, and strength. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, and friend whose warmth touched the lives of all who knew her.

Jackie was the devoted companion of Dale Lindsey for the past seven years, a relationship filled with deep companionship and care. She is survived by her loving siblings: JoAnn Veltre, Rose Tobin, and Joseph Giangregorio.

She was a proud and dedicated mother to her children:
• Peter Rideout (predeceased) and his wife Joyce, parents of Roland, Victoria, and Brittinie
• Thomas Rideout, father of Sarah, Meghan, Jacob, and Racheal
• Callie Ellis, mother of Amanda, Bradley, and Samantha
• Denise Justice (husband John), mother of Danielle and Benjamin

Her legacy continues through her 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren, each of whom brought her tremendous pride and joy.

Jackie was born and raised in California and spent most of her years there. She also lived in Rhode Island, Las Vegas, and spent her final years in Ohio.

Jackie will be remembered for her resilient and fun spirit. She loved casino gambling, the horse track, and playing poker at the annual Giangregorio picnic. She also enjoyed cooking, shopping, sewing, crafting, and going to concerts and shows.

She will be deeply missed and forever held in the hearts of those who loved her.
