It’s with deep sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Jimmie Charles Show, who left us on July 2, 2025, at just 49 years old.
Jimmie was born in East Liverpool, Ohio, but he spent most of his life growing up under the bright lights of Las Vegas, Nevada. Even in a city that never sleeps, Jimmie always stood out for his calm, steady nature. He was the kind of man who didn’t need to speak much—his actions, his loyalty, and his quiet presence said everything.
Recently, Jimmie found his way back to Clarington, Ohio—back to where his roots were, where his story began and a place that always called for him to come home. He came home looking for peace, for family, and for a sense of belonging. And while he didn’t stay long, we’re grateful he found comfort in the place he never stopped calling home.
He leaves behind his brother Kenny “Show” Davis, who was not just his sibling but his closest friend, and Kenny’s wife Nancy, who loved him like a brother. They were there for him and never left his side during his time of need. He’s also survived by his brother Billy Show, whose bond with Jimmie was both deep and enduring, also carries his memory with quiet pride and sorrow.
Jimmie is now reunited with the people he missed the most—his mom, Ruthie Sutton, his dad, Kenneth Show, and his brother Frankie Show, whose passing left a quiet ache in Jimmie’s heart. We can only imagine the joy of their reunion.
If you knew Jimmie, you know he didn’t ask for much. He found joy in the simple things: music, conversation, quiet evenings, and being surrounded by the people he loved. He never wanted a spotlight—just love, respect, and peace. And that’s exactly what he gave in return.
As Jimmie wished, there won’t be a formal service. Instead, we ask that you keep him in your heart and remember him with love. If you feel moved to help, the family is accepting donations to Simplicity Cremation in Cleveland, Ohio, to help cover his cremation and honor his final wishes.
Jimmie’s ashes will be placed beside his mother’s—bringing him full circle, back to where he felt safest and most loved. To rest beside the woman who first held his heart.
He may be gone from our sight,
but he’ll never be gone from our hearts.
