Kristian Cardell

It is with an extremely sad and heavy heart that I announce the passing of Kristian Raquel Cardell; she passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at the age of 38 in Cleveland Ohio.

She was born November 27, 1987 to Kimberly Ann Cardell and Ronnie Burton in Toledo Ohio, and was raised and supported solely by her mother. She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at a very early age and continued to worship him until her last breath.

Kristian graduated in 2006 from Jesup Scott High School and was 10 th in her class. She received her RN degree from Owens Community College in 2011. She worked as an RN at Toledo Hospital, University of Toledo

Medical Center and CSL Plasma where she was extremely dedicated, compassionate and loving toward the patients she served.

Kristian was extremely gifted and intelligent. She made honor roll many times throughout elementary and high school. She was very crafty and creative, as well as a talented sketch artist and poet. She was a member of SETT (Self Expression Teen Theatre) as a teenager where she wrote and performed her poetry in front of live audiences. She had a passion for music. Finding new recipes on YouTube and cooking while listening to music was something she adored doing in her spare time. She loved doing hair and was an excellent hair braider and stylist. She was a self-proclaimed diva with an amazing sense of style. She was adventurous and liked to shop, keep her hair, make up and nails done and was always the life of the party. She loved and cherished her children and her family very much.

She is survived by parents Kimberly Ann Cardell and Ronnie Burton; 3 children; Kamora Hylton, Elijah Shaffer and Messiah Shaffer; siblings Armondo Burton, Brook Burton, Sierra Allen, Sheron Allen, Silk Allen, Shaquille Allen and Calvin Burton, special uncle Christopher Cardell, special aunt Tammy Daugherty, special cousins Miracle Cardell, Alexis Cardell and Shikina Chenault; special friends, Naomi Forte, Jas Johnson and Shawn Fitzgerald. She is also survived by a host of other loving relatives and friends.

Kristian is preceded in death by grandmother Aubrey Cardell, grandfather Jessie Cardell, grandmother Shelby Hayes, grandfather Guy Burton, uncle Jessie Cardell, aunt Sherry Taylor and special aunt and uncle Howard and Daisy Gudger.

The family appreciates all the love and support received during this very difficult time. Kristian was a Queen and will be deeply missed.
