Laura Michelle Piccolomini

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Laura “Lauri” Piccolomini (née Kucinich), age 69, of Litchfield, Ohio, on June 12, 2026.

Lauri leaves behind the love of her life and devoted husband, Raymond Piccolomini. She also leaves behind her beloved daughter Andriana Ambrose, her cherished son-in-law John Ambrose and her loving grandchildren, John and Lauren. She is also survived by her 3 siblings, cousins, nieces & nephews, bonus children, and many dear friends whose lives she touched deeply.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Kucinich and Jerri DeMarco, and one sibling. She is now reunited with them in heaven.

Lauri was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and fierce protector of her family. A loving matriarch, she consistently put the needs of others before her own. She was a woman of extraordinary generosity who would give anything she had to help someone in need and make sure no one ever left her home hungry. Her greatest joy in life was her family, and she taught those around her the true meaning of unconditional love.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date to honor and remember the remarkable woman she was and the lasting legacy she leaves behind.
