Madeline Connolly Taylor

April 20, 1945 — February 8, 2026

Lyndhurst, Ohio

Madeline Laverne Connolly Taylor was born on April 20, 1945, and grew up in Bluefield, WV. She was the daughter of the late Allan B. Connolly, Sr., and the late Thelma Trigg Connolly. Her brother Oliver Michael "Buster" Connolly preceded her in death. She is survived by one brother, Allan B. Connolly, Jr., of Wheeling, WV. Madeline leaves behind two daughters, Kessandra "Sandy" (J.P.) and Onitsha; three grandsons, Geoffrey (Jackie), Kennard (Mackenzie), and Ishmeal; and two great-grandsons, Kyren and Kaysen. She also leaves behind, and shared special bonds with, her niece Yvette and nephew Billy, as well as a large host of sister and brother cousins and long-time friends.

She was a graduate of Park Central High School and served on the committee that organized her high school reunions. She was a graduate of Bluefield State College, a member of the Delta Sigma Theta sorority, and a member of First Presbyterian Church of East Cleveland, Ohio, before it closed. On Sunday, February 8, 2026, Madeline peacefully went to her heavenly home as a result of a heart condition.

Madeline moved to Cleveland, Ohio in the 70's and resided in the Euclid Green neighborhood on Ridgehill Road where she was the street club president and enjoyed friendships over the decades that became family. She was especially close to the Craig and Britt families to name just two.

Madline enjoyed a long and successful career as a Marketing Executive at Allen Telecom, where she was a hardworking, kind and genuine friend to her colleagues. She was loving and caring and made everyone feel welcome in her home. She enjoyed family gatherings, preparing Sunday dinners, and always made holidays special for her children and grandchildren. Each of us, in our special way, will remember Madeline and the great times we spent with her. Her love for us will give all of us comfort as we accept this departure and continue our personal remembrances of her.
