Michael Scott Gibbs

Michael Scott Gibbs, age 67, passed away on February 17, 2026. He was born on April 23, 1958, to Leroy Clifford Gibbs and Elizabeth “Betty” Louise Held.

Michael was a devoted father to Amanda M. Rutski and Justin M. Gibbs. He was also a proud grandfather to Elliana C. Rutski, Makenzie M. Rutski, and Ian P. Rutski.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Timothy Gibbs.

He is survived by his siblings Jim Babione and Patrick Gibbs, along with many other loved ones who will cherish his memory.

Michael enjoyed spending time with his family, helping others whenever possible, and fishing. He will be remembered for his caring nature, generous spirit, and the love he had for those closest to him.

His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
