Mike was passionate about Green Bay Packers football (he even purchased a share in the franchise and was so proud), Clash of Clans, Star Wars, Legos, and even the mundane task of mowing the lawn. A meat smoker hated to see him coming and nothing beat his smoked meatloaf.
He was a loving husband who ensured Colleen was always taken care of and they spent time together eating at nice restaurants, attending musicals, playing video games, and rewatching their favorite shows and movies.
He’s who his kids called if they needed help with anything… even before googling. Need a tool? It was set out ready or ordered before they get off the phone. Need help finding the best deal on a hotel? He booked the best one. Car problems? He’d either fix it for them, take it to get fixed, or go with and make sure they get the best deal and care.
Mike was tough and sarcastic but also soft and caring. And nothing showed his soft side more than his grandsons. From chasing them around, to driving trucks, to snuggling up and napping, but don’t you dare ask him to change their poopy diaper! He was truly the best Pop Pop in the galaxy and none of us had enough time with him. We will carry him and our wonderful memories of him in our hearts forever.
He is survived by his wife of almost 31 years Colleen, daughter Nichelle Matsumura (Megan Matsumura), son Brandon Wolfe (Amberly Wolfe), 2 grandchildren he loved more than life itself- Milo and Luke, and his mother Freddie Mae Bosse.
