Monika Marie Robbins, 51, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 13, 2026, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer. She fought like a warrior for over three years. She will be remembered for a life filled with love, strength, and a constant sense of caring for those around her.
Monika was born March 7, 1975 to Ronnie and Carletta Robbins in the Cleveland, OH area. She attended Nordonia High School, class of 1993. Monika was passionate, loving, and kind. She was a proud and devoted wife, mother, and, most recently, grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Rosenbaum, her children Justin, Cory, Nicholas, and Rian, granddaughter Melody and grandson George, as well as many other family and friends who will miss her greatly.
Monika enjoyed spending time with family, with many hours playing games or just sitting around and talking.
She developed a love for the outdoors, after moving with her husband to live on a remote piece of property in Maine. Her childhood nickname was “Tiger,” and she adored her dogs, the color purple, and anything sweet. She was always concerned for the comfort of others, from family meals to nurses in the hospital who were taking care of her. As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the love, joy, and kindness that Monika left behind.
A Mass to honor Monika’s life will be held at St Therese Catholic Church in Garfield Hts, Ohio, on Saturday, September 26th at 10am
