Nicholas Stace

Nicholas (Nick) Wayne Stace, 38, passed away on May 17, 2026, from complications of pneumonia.

Born on May 22, 1987, Nick was the son of Kevin (Tracy) Stace and Michelle (Allen) Smith.

He is survived by his parents; his children, Kaylee (Hart) Sexton, Carter Stace, Hayden Stace, Vivian Stace, and Hazel Stace; his stepsister, Natasha Ehinger Wetzel; his stepbrothers, Joshua (Kelly) Smith, Logan Pitts, and Landon Pitts; and many other family members, including aunts, uncles, a niece, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Gerald Stace and Vivian Beck; his maternal grandparents, Fredrick and Sylvia Frye, and Johnie Green and Margie Kelly; and his uncle, Charles Green.

Nick faced many challenges throughout his life. Despite those struggles, he remained loved by his family, who will cherish the memories they shared with him.

The family appreciates the support, prayers, and thoughtful expressions of sympathy during this difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
