Norval Landers

Sep 11, 1950 — Jul 7, 2026

Norval Glen "Glen" Landers Sr.

Norval Glen "Glen" Landers Sr., affectionately known to family and friends simply as "Glen," was born on September 11, 1950, in Russellville, Alabama. He later moved to Ohio, where he met the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Deborah D. Landers (née Mickey). The couple married in 1970 and shared many wonderful years together until Deborah's passing on July 31, 2024.

Glen was the devoted father of two children: his daughter, Reena (Landers) Bodjiak and her husband, Steven Bodjiak; and his son, Norval "Glen" Landers Jr. and his girlfriend, Christa Risk. He was a proud grandfather to Branden, Kevin, Nathan, and Samantha, and was also blessed with seven great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him great joy.

He was the beloved son of the late Clifford G. Landers and Lonis Landers. Glen was one of five children and was preceded in death by his siblings, Larry Landers Sr., Eddy Landers Sr., and Martha Landers. He is survived by his sister, Myra "Jeannie" Mysliwczyk.

Following high school, Glen answered the call to serve his country when he was drafted into the United States Army during the Vietnam War in the early 1970s. After completing his military service, he went on to enjoy a long career with the United States Postal Service before retiring.

Glen found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending time fishing and camping, but above all, he cherished the time he spent with his family. He will be remembered for his dedication to those he loved, his quiet strength, and the lasting memories he created with family and friends.
