Rose M. Cerovski

Rose Marie Cerovski, 78, of Cleveland, Ohio passed away peacefully at home on September 2, 2026. She was preceded in death by her parents Paul and Ethel (Stalnaker) Harshberger; loving husband, George Cerovski and stepchild Sharon Brown.

Surviving are her brother, Paul Jr. Harshburger, caring children and stepchildren; Angela (Andy) Compton,Samuel (Sarah) Cerovski, George Cerovski, Deborah (James) Kikel, Daniel Cerovski; grandchildren Tracy (Andy) Hawthorne, Shawna (Matthew) Layne, Michael Brown, Dane (Marissa) Cerovski, Gabriella (Matthew) Shrizadian, Christian (Anna) Cerovski, Jack and Olivia Cerovski, Chloe and Dillon Compton ; great-grandchildren David, Annemarie, and Emma Layne, Madison and Ava Hawthorne, Isabelle and Hutton Cerovski, and Sophie and Maverick Shirzadian, along with many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Rose was born in West Virginia but moved shortly thereafter and grew up on a dairy farm in southern Ohio. She attended Ohio University (’71) graduating with a bachelors degree in Art History. She was an artist and enjoyed painting nature.

Rose was a faithful and devoted wife, a kind and loving mother, both fun and fun-loving. Her faith, prayer, and a personal relationship with Jesus was of utmost importance to her and she wanted to share the love of Jesus
and what He had done for her with everyone she met. She enjoyed being involved in ministry at the churches she was a member of. She made many friends throughout her life and served the Lord with all her heart.

She died with the Blessed Hope of Christ’s soon return and resurrection and her wish to see her all her loved ones in eternity. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her and the pleasure of her company. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.

A memorial service will be held at the Lakewood Seventh-Day Adventist Church
Visitation will begin at 3:00pm on Saturday, September 19, 2026 with the Memorial and a potluck dinner following. It will be an opportunity to celebrate and remember her love and life.
