Susan E. Burdick, age 73, passed away peacefully on December 19, 2025. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Burdick, with whom she shared many years of loving memories.
Susan was a devoted mother to Charles (Stacie), Lisa, and Vicky (lan), and a proud grandmother to Daniel (Jamie), Clayton, Chloe, Kayden, Kyler, and Kenzy. Her joy was multiplied as a great-grandmother to Amelia. All of whom held a very special place in her heart.
She is also survived by her loving sisters Sharon, Sally (David), and Denise (Barry), along with many nieces, nephews, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Susan was truly the light of the party-her laughter, warmth, and spirited personality could brighten any room. She had a deep love for music, especially Jimmy Buffett, Neil Diamond, and any old country artist. Susan created fond memories with family and friends after attending many concerts. She enjoyed going to Cleveland Indians games and was also one of her grandchildren's biggest fans when it came to sports, rarely missing a game or an opportunity to cheer them on from the sidelines.
She found peace and happiness at the beach, where she loved walking along the shore and collecting seashells in her flip flops-each one a small treasure, much like the moments she shared with those she loved. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family and friends, creating memories filled with love, laughter, and fun.
Susan will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, her generous heart, and the deep love she had for her family. She leaves behind a legacy of joy, connection, and cherished memories that will live on in all who knew her.
Friends and family are invited to attend the Celebration of Life memorial for Susan on January 16, 2026 at the Lodge at Allardale Park, located at 141 Remsen Road, Medina, OH 44256. All are welcome from 4:00-9:00 pm.
