Terry James Emerson

Terry James Emerson, born on November 22, 1959, in the warmth of a loving family, passed away on January 8, 2026. Terry's spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He is survived by his cherished father, James Emerson, and children, Kyle Emerson (Angel), Megan Emerson, Molly Pariseau (Brandon), and Mary Dante (RJ), as well as his niece, Brooke Russell (Todd). Each of them carries a piece of his boundless love. His cherished grandchildren further nurture his legacy: Tessa, Rayden, Rustyn, and Evelynn, who brought immeasurable joy to his life.

As a devoted father, Terry gave everything he had to his kids and grandkids, consistently demonstrating his caring nature. He was a true Army veteran, embodying bravery and camaraderie as he served his country. He was rarely seen without a cigarette and a Dr Pepper in hand, symbols of his vibrant personality that drew others to him effortlessly.

Terry had an abiding passion for life. He loved fishing and hunting, forging lasting memories in the great outdoors with those he held dear. A number one Dallas Cowboys fan, he would light up at the mention of a game, showcasing his unwavering loyalty and excitement for his team. Alongside his love for sports, he found joy in cooking and cherished the moments spent sharing meals with family and friends.

He was also a connoisseur of horror movies and had a particular affinity for reading, especially the Conan books that captivated his imagination. Terry embraced activities that brought him closer to others—be it playing basketball, bowling, or pool, where laughter and camaraderie flourished.

Terry is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Nancy Nelson, and loving sister, Sheila Henry.

Though the world feels a little dimmer without Terry, his loving spirit will continue to light the way for his family and friends. His impact on their lives will never be forgotten, and his legacy of love, devotion, and joy will forever resonate in their hearts.
